Very confused and unsure
I've recently became full time delivery driver. And personally I find Uber the best paying if you hit the bonus. I usually go for the biggest weekend one. So I'm confused, because I'm very new to this 3 months. I can see faults with Uber don't get me wrong. But overall from what I've saw. They offer the best pay, and extras as in dental insurance cheeper, and side of the road assistance. Why do you all hate them so badly. I love this work for the freedom and the more experience I get. My dollar/hour is still going up. Just hit 22 last week. With a 1.15 per mile (due to my home being an hour north of Pittsburgh I drive far to work). Best money ive ever made. And I had a government position. Obviously I understand I'm not taxed yet. But still, overall I love no bosses micromanaging my every move. I can start whenever I want. And I'm genuinely happy. So for me if all factors stay as I've been experiencing. I don't want anything to change. I've been thinking on this a lot. And most likely this is higher then normal pay. With the world's eyes on these companies. Naturally your going to put your best foot forward. And for me I know the pay can't drop like any amount from what I've experienced. To justify expenses, wear an tear and my normal month to month expenses. So it's a rock and a hard place for me. I'm an introvert, solo kind of guy. Who can't stand highschool like work settings. So this job has been so nice for me. Truly have never been happier. But I excuse myself from the ongoing discussion and waive my vote. Until I can collect more data. I just highly expect I'll never stay as an employee. Even if I was offered. Not why I came to delivery. I left a low government job for this because I'm independent and hard working without a dick boss. But when I'm out in classic employee positions I fail miserably. Due to co worker, social tension, and a massive problem being bossed around by people I know I'm smarter then lol. Jk
